"I don't know about you, but at our house, Holidays mean eating and drinking! What better treat for a night of festivities than a glass of wine with your sugary gingerbread man cookie! While that might not be a traditional food combo - you can just "Martha" it up by adding a sprig of holly!"
"To create the frame around the main image, I first stamped and punched out the image in the square, then I traced around the square lightly with a pencil onto the notecard background, then I stamped the Madeira one time on each side so just half would peek out from behind the mounted scallop square."
"My favorite tool for this card is the pretty A Muse ribbon! It makes this simple card shimmer and shine and adds a sophisticated look to any creation - it looks especially delightful on Holiday projects."

Round Robin

"I thought it would be fun to try a game of Round Robin for the newsletter this week. One person begins the card and then each person playing adds a little something else to it, until you have a completed card.
Geeta began the card with her color choice and a main image.
Tisha then added a sun with a scallop punch and some brads.
Then, I finished it with the waves, a little glitter and the sentiment."
Saving "Precious" Notecard Paper

"Here's my dilema: I want to use a strip of notecard paper from one of the 4.25" square notecards on one of the 4 bar notecards. However, the 4.25" size will not go all the way across the 4 bar notecard horizontally. I don't want to waste any of my precious A Muse notecard paper, so here's my solution."
I cut my strip of cardstock into two pieces and adhere it where I want it.
Then, I cover the break between the two pieces with a stamped panel.
"This may be nothing new to some of you, but it sure has helped me by saving paper and creating less scraps!"
Hee hee. We thought we'd go right from summer to winter this week and share this adorable card using some of our newest images, from the brand NEW a-muse-a-palooza holiday release.

"When I saw this adorable Winter girl image, I knew she would be great paired with the Igloo that was released during last year's a-muse-a-palooza. The Blue Raspberry Tinplate notecards are great for a "snow" backdrop and I just cut some cardstock with a wavy cutter to make the snowdrifts. Add a little glitter and Shazam! Serious winter cuteness!"
